266 B.C I was just trialed and proven guilty... I am heading to the forum to be auctioned to galley owners because no one wants a criminal as a house slave. My family was taken away from me today... and I'm officially depressed.I've suffered so much.. an hour ago I was whipped for resisting authority.

Request Denied: I'm sorry you are mistaking me for someone who works on trade routes, I fight on a trireme not a trade ship that carries your grain. Once again , I apologize I'm sure you provide a great source of food, but I have no relationship to you.

How corrupt some are to whip someone and take their family away! How unjust and unfair this is! I am sincerly sorry to hear about this and outraged about how this could even be allowed to happen. I pray for your safety while you fight in the Punic Wars, and I also pray that your family is safe and knows that you are alive. Please remember these verses, I hope they comfort you and remind you of God's love in difficult times.

ReplyDeleteYes, see how slavery is technically worse for Rome. I burnt down a slave-market which is a terrible coincidence that I was punished by being put into slavery.I wouldn't be a slave if I could pay for the damage, but I'm already in debt and they thought with my strength I should be put to work
