264 B.C. I actually set my feet on land for the first time in 10 months, it is only temporary we are to be given a new ship because the other trireme was run down and the Carthagians are becoming more and more powerful.
Oh happy day! I am so happy that you are able to be on dry land for a but, even if it is only for a short time. Those horrible Carthaginians! Why can't we live in peace? I know this will never happen though, we are never content with what we have, and if we are it is only temporary. Well anyway, I do not wish to be a raincloud on this happy day. I hope that you enjoy your day on dry ground. Pslam 118:24-This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it.
Not a chance. They don't even plan on me surviving in battle and returning to home,I assume I would become a public slave,or a gladiator if I continue to keep up my strength
